Without a doubt, Stevie Wonder's version is the best. The musical accompaniment is better, the way he sings/says the words is almost like he is having a conversation with his love thus making the presentation more real and honest. Don't get me wrong, I like Intro's version. One of the better remakes out there but it can't top Stevie's.

Stevie's is better overall, but the vocal arrangement of Intro's is better to me

thanks for the input Janelle and Rashad. This was a close one for me. I love each of them, the version I listen to depends on my mood. But...in the end I'm in agreement with you both - Stevie's is superior. Like janelle mentioned, it has a more intimate feel. That said, intro's knocks and think they did justice to the original. The vocal arrangements are gorgeous.

I didn't even listen to the other version. Stevie is king. I've sung that song at too many weddings to count...

at last, ribbon in the sky and always and forever are like the trifecta of wedding songs. I think i've only been to one wedding where not one of these songs was played.
